Brie (fr. Brie) is a soft cheese made from cow’s milk, which got its name from the French province (located in the central region of Ile-de-France near Paris), where it was first made.
Brie is one of the most famous French cheeses known around the world. However, since this name unites a large number of separate varieties, it is more correct to speak of the brie family.
